Annlyel reveals why seeing Kylo Ren and Anakin Skywalker face to face would be a dream come true…
Since The Force Awakens, it has seemed that Anakin’s return would be imminent and yet he still hasn’t arrived in the sequel trilogy. Shortly after The Force Awakens entered the theaters it was revealed that Anakin almost made an appearance in Rey’s vision.
Then it was rumored that he would appear in The Last Jedi in a strange vision of Rey’s on Ahch-To and it didn’t help matters when he appeared at several Star Wars events a couple of years ago. And now there are rumors that he might make an appearance to Kylo Ren in Episode IX and so that leads me to this simple question; Should he even be in the movie? My answer is yes.
While Anakin has caused me much grief for his role in the prequels the idea of him making a fascinating cameo in Episode IX is very exciting indeed. Besides, Kylo Ren needs to be told a thing or two.
His mission in the sequel trilogy is to finish what Darth Vader started but I don’t think he realizes that Darth Vader didn’t die as a villain but rather as a redeemed Jedi who defeated Emperor Palpatine to save his son and Kylo’s uncle, Luke Skywalker.
To see Kylo Ren and Anakin Skywalker, grandfather and grandson, face to face would be rather awesome indeed. Of course, he probably won’t even make an appearance in the film but if he does I will be very happy.
