Filming on Jon Favreau’s first ever Star Wars live-action series is complete…
Hot on the heels of the news that Star Wars: Episode IX has completed filming, we are hearing word that Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian has also completed its shooting schedule. The first ever live-action series based on the adventures of a lone gunfighter in the aftermath of the fall of the Empire has intrigued fans around the world and news of its completion will send a shockwave of euphoria around the fan fraternity.
Star Wars News Network recently reported on a deleted social media post from episode director Damiano Fusca and a Mandalorian helmet signed by the crew of the first season.
In a now deleted tweet it appears #TheMandalorian may have also wrapped filming. The show has been filming since early October. If true it’s certainly possible a full trailer could be available at Celebration. We’ll see! I imagine we’ll hear something from Favreau soon. #StarWars pic.twitter.com/OiIk02CyAy

If that wasn’t enough to get the fans talking, Making Star Wars also reported that the crew wrap party took place at the Scum and Villainy Cantina in LA last Tuesday which was accentuated by an Instagram post revealing some of the crew celebrating a job well done.
This is exciting news. With work complete on both Star Wars: Episode IX and The Mandalorian fans can look forward to Star Wars Celebration knowing they could be in for a big reveal at one of the many panels taking place in Chicago this year.
