Hot Toys Review | Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith)

Thomas takes his first steps into a larger world with the incredible Sixth Scale Anakin Skywalker Figure from Hot Toys

Sideshow and Hot Toys have officially presented the incredible movie masterpiece – the highly anticipated sixth scale Anakin Skywalker Star Wars collectable figure from Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. Masterfully crafted based on the appearance of Anakin Skywalker in the movie, the sixth scale collectable figure features a newly developed head sculpt with impressive likeness, a meticulously tailored Jedi outfit, an interchangeable right mechno-arm, an LED light-up lightsaber, an additional Count Dooku’s lightsaber, and a specially designed figure base.

Review:

The latest addition to my Hot Toys collection is Anakin Skywalker. As usual with this brand, you expect the best and you get the very best, no disappointments!

Anakin Skywalker comes with 9 interchangeable hands, 3 interchangeable arms (the normal arm, the arm with the LED lightsaber and the robotic arm), Dooku’s lightsaber, Anakin’s lightsaber, 3 batteries, two replacement joints, one cape, one basic stand with a nameplate. There’s a nice amount of accessories which is pretty cool. The figure has 32 points of articulation. The box is the same as the other Hot Toys boxes but with Anakin promotional art on it.

I previously owned the 12 inch Anakin Sideshow from Revenge of The Sith but the likeness to Hayden Christensen wasn’t quite right so I had to get this Hot Toys variant. The likeness is definitely there this time, there are incredible details, it’s magnificent! The noticeable difference is the fabric, the Hot Toys fabric is far better quality and the color is screen accurate which is essential when you get a figure at this price!

The robotic arm is exceptional, there are points of articulation on the fingers! How cool is that? Just a bit of advice, be careful when you move the fingers, they are fragile. There’s a small problem with the interchangeable arms though, it’s difficult to remove them, it takes time and patience to do that.

Just like with Rey, the lightsaber LED feature is really awesome, I love it so much!

Final Thoughts:

Anakin is a must-have for Prequel fans, it’s perfection!
