Members of the Cineworld Unlimited club can see Shazam nine days early!
The great team at Warner Bros. UK have joined forces with popular UK cinema chain Cineworld to offer members of its exclusive Cineworld Unlimited club the chance to see the highly anticipated DC blockbuster Shazam all full nine days ahead of its general release. Similarly advanced screenings had been announced for the United States via collaboration between Warner Bros. and Fandango, but thankfully the UK is set to enjoy similar events which will take place on the evening of March 27th.
The Zachary Levi fronted adventure which is based on the popular comic series has been receiving great press from test screenings and is expected to make a huge splash at the box office following the astronomical success of Aquaman this past December. The story follows the adventures of Billy Batson, a troubled foster kid who is bestowed with magical superpowers turning him into the chiselled superhero, Shazam.
The movie appears to have harnessed the magic and innocence of the beloved Tom Hanks adventure BIG, whilst amalgamating its tone with that of the superhero adventures of the wider DC Universe. Either way, the movie is set to be one hell of a rollercoaster ride when it reaches our screens on April 5th.
Cineworld’s Unlimited club is available to join via the Cineworld website. For the price of £17.90, per month movie lovers can enjoy as many films as they desire whilst being in receipt of a 25% discount on snacks and drinks. The membership is great value for money and well worth a look.
However, if you’re not a member of Cineworld Unlimited Shazam will be released everywhere on April 5th.
