A recent Amazon listing has revealed the stunning new action figure of the Dark Side’s most infamous Sith Lord
We have exciting news.
Whether by design or just pure accident, a recent listing on the Amazon website has revealed the imminent release of a brand-new Star Wars: The Black Series Deluxe Emperor Palpatine action figure. The incredible figure is set to released under the same banner as the recent General Grievous figure which was the first of what we hope to be many Deluxe Figures which interchangeable parts and superb articulation.
A very basic Emperor Palpatine was released in the original line of Black Series figures and has yet to be updated, but thankfully all that is about to change. This new release boasts three interchangeable heads, force lightning hands and his famous “sit and spin” throne.
First Look:
This figure represents somewhat of a breakthrough for The Black Series. Never before has a figure been released with so many accessories, a fact that will excite action figure collectors everywhere. Hasbro appears to hell-bent on competing with the likes of the S.H Figuarts and Mafex lines, the latter of which boasts incredible articulation, unsurpassed screen accuracy and a mind-boggling array of accessories. For all intents and purposes, this new figure will do just that. With Hasbro now utilising the state-of-the-art digital print technology, the quality of its action figures has risen dramatically, which is a long overdue win for the fans.
Sadly, no official release date has been confirmed but rumour is this will be listed starting on 4/13/19. Stay tuned to The Future of the Force for updates
Keep up the good work Hasbro.
