The Game of Thrones producers will be bringing their new Star Wars vision to the screen after The Rise of Skywalker
News is emerging regarding the future of the galaxy far, far away and it appears that the next chapter in the Star Wars franchise will be brought to us by Game of Thrones producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Rumoured to be set in the time of the Old Republic, the movie is earmarked for a December 2022 release after a three-year hiatus for the franchise following The Rise of Skywalker.

The pair have been attached to a Star Wars project for some time but nothing concrete has emerged from the halls of Lucasfilm until now, and we can all get set to usher in a new era of Star Wars in 2022.
