
Warner Bros. confirms the release date for Justin Copeland’s new animated feature
Just days after we brought you the trailer for Justin Copeland’s highly anticipated Batman: Hush adaptation, Warner Bros. Animation has moved quickly to confirm a release date for the DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K editions as well as revealing the incredible cover art which you can see below:
You will find the movie available for digital download on July 20th, and the Blu-Ray and 4K UHD editions will hit store shelves on Aug. 13th. These dates apply to the US editions with the UK release dates expected to be announced in the coming days.
Batman: Hush is inspired by the celebrated 2002-2003 storyline written by Jeph Loeb, pencilled by comic book legend Jim Lee, inked by Scott Williams, and coloured by Alex Sinclair.
Jason O’Mara will reprise the role of Batman alongside Jennifer Morrison as Selina Kyle, Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Rebecca Romijn as Lois Lane, Rainn Wilson as Lex Luthor, Sean Maher as Nightwing, Bruce Thomas as Jim Gordon, Stuart Allan as Damian Wayne, and James Garrett as Alfred.
Further additions to the cast are Geoffrey Arend as The Riddler, Vanessa Williams as Amanda Waller, Jason Spisak as The Joker, Adam Gifford as Bane, Peyton List as Poison Ivy, Dachie Alessio as Lady Shiva, Peyton List as Batgirl, and Tara Strong voices Reporter.
Batman: Hush is directed by Justin Copeland and will hit shelves in the US on August 13th. Until then, Batman Vs TMNT is available to own on Digital NOW and is scheduled for release on DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K-HD Blu-Ray on June 3rd. Pre-order your copy HERE.
