The Marvel Universe is taking over Disneyland’s Adventure Park
As of the posting of this, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland California is still in its reservation only phase. Despite this, the company is not wasting any time from getting approval to turn part of their California Adventure Theme Park into Marvel Land. For now, it is unknown where in the park the expansion will occur. The most likely location is between Guardians of the Galaxy drop tower ride and Cars Land. It has plenty of space without Disney having to buy more land.
As of now, the city of Anaheim, California, where the parks are located, has approved more than several building permits worth more than $14 million.
Just a few of the attractions projected to be included in the expansion are: a retail outlet to buy souvenirs and such, a character meet and greet area and a microbrewery. More information is predicted to be given in a few months at Disney’s D23 Expo in August.
Work on the expansion is expected to begin sometime next year. So far, no opening date has been given.

I am a major “Star Wars” fan who currently writes for Future of the Force and is absolutely loving it! Until my writing career really takes off, I am now writing for Future of the Force full time, having graduated Spring 2018 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Literature and Writing.
My other interests include ABC’s “The Good Doctor”, CW’s “Arrow” and “The Flash”, and DC’s “Batman”. Of all the iterations of Batman, my favorite would definitely have to be 1992’s “Batman: The Animated Series”.
