Thomas returns to Hogwarts and finds himself under the spell of Tamashii Nations’ new Severus Snape action figure

The latest S.H. Figuarts action figure to be released under the Harry Potter Wizarding World banner has arrived in the form of Alan Rickman’s iconic magician Severus Snape. He’s one of my favorite characters from this universe, I was obviously very excited for this figure so let’s see if it was worth the wait!

The figure comes with 6 interchangeable hands, two interchangeable faces (please Figuarts stop doing this and just do interchangeable heads, it’s much better!) and Severus’ magic wand.

Snape’s outfit is all black and really simple so it wasn’t really difficult to do that correctly, Tamashii Nations did a great job! And they were smart to use soft plastic for a tunic that falls on the legs so it wouldn’t limit the range of articulation. In terms of points of articulation, this figure has 21. One thing that is missing is Snape’s famous long coat, I would have greatly appreciated it if they had included it as he’s seen with it most of his screen time. So I’m disappointed with this.

However, when it comes to the head sculpt, the first face is simply perfect, it IS Severus Snape, one of SHF’s best head sculpts without any doubt! As for the second face with an angry facial expression, it’s great but there’s a little something off with how the expression turned out.

Final Thoughts:

I’m really disappointed they didn’t include Snape’s famous long coat but it’s an excellent figure with one of SHF’s best head sculpt and that’s priceless!
