Stephen Amell slips into his new suit in these awesome new promo images
With the final season of Arrow fast approaching, Oliver Queen’s last costume has been revealed in some seriously cool new promotional images. Season 8 of Arrow marks the end of the line for the Arrowverse‘s fearless leader and longest-serving superhero.
Throughout its run Arrow has delivered some of the greatest DC moments in television history and in turn rejuvenated its lesser-known protagonist and turned him into a household name once again. The previous season saw many unexpected twists and turns, especially with series regular Emily Bett Rickards departing her role as Felicity Smoak leaving fans wondering what they can expect to see from the final season.
At least the wait is over for our first look at the latest Green Arrow costume which has been revealed by EW. The new suit is far sleeker than previous costumes and is hauntingly reminiscent of earlier incarnations of the Emerald Archer threads. Check out the new images below:
This revelation comes just days after Melissa Benoist unveiled our first look at the new Supergirl suit from the upcoming fifth season. Gone is the traditional red skirt which has been replaced by more “Superman” accustomed tights. Check it out:
As far as the plot for season 8 is concerned, the CW is giving very little away, however, what is widely expected is for the plot of the last remaining episodes to heavily impact upon the events of the highly anticipated crossover event “Crisis on Infinite Earths”. With the showrunners expected to reveal more about the show’s conclusion at SDCC this weekend, we could be line for some exciting news sooner rather than later.
Check back throughout the weekend for updates.
Arrow Season 8 debuts on October 15th.
