Back at SDCC, Brandon Routh confirmed that he would be reprising his role as Superman in the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event. Plus, if that wasn’t enough, original Robin, the great Burt Ward is also set to make an appearance.

Superman Returns…Again!

Update:

Just a few hours after publication, Kevin Conroy took to social media to respond to the news.

This is incredible news. Kevin Conroy is to many fans the ultimate Bruce Wayne/Batman voice actor and the thought of seeing him make his Arrowverse debut as an elderly Bruce Wayne is mindblowing. The CW is pulling out all the stops to ensure this crossover is the biggest event the series has ever seen, and with Kevin Conroy joining the party it’s hard to see Crisis on Infinite Earths failing to be a massive crowd-pleaser.
