Stallone Goes to War in the New Trailer for Rambo: Last Blood

Rambo lives up to his legacy and delivers all-out war in the newest teaser for Last Blood

Oh, hell yeah!

Over the years, Sylvester Stallone‘s John Rambo has built his legacy upon the bones of his fallen victims and in doing so has delivered what many believe to be some of the finest action movies ever made. Not only do the Rambo movies deliver upon their mandate of testosterone-fuelled action and violence, but they do so in an unrelentingly visceral fashion that can make even the hardened among us wince. In Rambo: Last Blood, Stallone is back, and he is bringing hellfire and brimstone with him as he wages war on a Mexican drug cartel who have taken the wrong victim hostage.

Last week Stallone took to his Instagram account with a promise that the all-new trailer will be unleashed upon the world TODAY and boy did he deliver. The explosive new trailer is packed with all the tropes, nostalgia and iconography of the eighties, but this time Stallone is bringing the war home. Swapping the jungle for the family ranch, Rambo is out for blood and heaven help anyone who gets in his way.

And here’s the original Instagram post:

We are exactly one month away from the release of Rambo: Last Blood and I cannot wait. The nostalgia element alone makes this movie a must-see, and if it is set to be Rambo’s swansong then it looks set to see him go out in a blaze of gunfire and glory.

Bring it on!
