Dolby’s exclusive poster reveals Poe Dameron’s lone X-Wing Fighter facing down the infamous Imperial Fleet!
We are just under a month away from the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and all eyes are on J.J Abrams to deliver the mother of all Star Wars movies. The task of culminating the entire Skywalker saga originated by George Lucas back in 1977 is a daunting prospect, one that is set to be an emotional rollercoaster ride but Abrams is more than ready for the challenge. And as we enter the home stretch, we have a multitude of TV Spots, images and posters to contend with as the clock ticks down to release day.
The latest poster for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has been released by Dolby Cinema and features Poe Dameron’s lone X-Wing starfighter facing off against an imposing fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers. The new Destroyers are sporting a red stripe along their sleek hull suggesting these vessels may be more than just the standard big triangle warships of yesteryear.
Personally, I am dreading the release of The Rise of Skywalker. If you’d have asked me at the start of the year whether I was ready for the saga to end I’d have said yes. But now, as we near its inevitable release, I find myself struggling with the fact that the saga is coming to an end and this is the final curtain for the Millennium Falcon and her crew of heroes.
One way or another, it’s going to be a bittersweet experience.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker unleashed the force in cinemas from December 19th.
