All roads lead to this. Dom comes face to face with his past in the all-new trailer for Fast & Furious 9
Just days after Universal Pictures unleashed a catalogue of cool new character posters from Fast 9, the studio has unleashed the high octane new trailer which is sure to pump some much needed NOS into the tank. The new trailer reveals Dom and Letty’s quiet family life being turned upside down as their past comes back to haunt them. Check it out:
As someone who fully appreciates The Fast Saga but believes it should have been retired following the tragic passing of Paul Walker, I have to admit Fast 9 looks absolutely breathtaking. Vin Diesel looks back to his best alongside Michelle Rodriguez who just seems to become more badass with each new entry, and the addition of John Cena as Dom’s brother makes for tantalising viewing…And the return of Han!! What? Seriously, Fast 9 looks off the chain.
Whether Fast 9 can hold its own against its predecessors remains to be seen, but either way, the Universal coffers are sure to see a surge in revenue when the movie hits multiplexes this summer.
Here’s the official line from the studio:
Summer 2020 is the time for F9, the ninth chapter in The Fast Saga that has endured for almost two decades and has earned more than $5 billion around the world. Directed by Justin Lin, who helmed the third, fourth, fifth and sixth chapters of the series when it transformed into a global blockbuster, the film stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Oscar winner Charlize Theron and Oscar winner Helen Mirren. F9 is produced by Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Joe Roth, Justin Lin, Clayton Townsend and Samantha Vincent.

No mention of a brother for Dom ever before? How is Mia in this movie without Brian?
