Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has proven itself to be a monumental success for Disney. The Star Wars-themed Disney resort has been a massive hit with Star Wars fans who have had the dream of entering a living and breathing Star Wars land realised in stunning fashion. But if you thought Galaxy’s Edge was the pinnacle of Star Wars awesomeness think again!
Today, Disney has unveiled an incredible first look at the hotly anticipated Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel which is set to launch sometime in 2021. The two-night hotel stay will be the ultimate package for Star Wars fans which promises to immerse guests in the splendour of the galaxy far, far away…

I don’t know about you, but my jaw just hit the floor. This new Star Wars experience will be an ultimate excursion to the galaxy far, far away. Lightsaber training! Living life on a Starcruiser! Windows that look out into space! Space battles! Plus, a personalised transport which conveys you to Batuu for a spin around Galaxy’s Edge! Oh hell yeah! Take my money now!
The team at Disney Resorts have outdone themselves this time. Taking a day trip to Galaxy’s Edge is one thing. Immersing yourself in Star Wars awesomeness and experiencing what life would be like in the Star Wars universe is something else entirely. Fans of all ages are gonna love this, and even if it takes me until 2054, I’ll be going hell for leather to get there!
Reservations for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will begin later this year and the site itself launches sometime in 2021. Get there early – because you’ll only be disappointed when you get there and find me first in the queue!
