It’s time to roll out with the Autobots in Netflix’s stunning new Transformers Trilogy
The war for Cybertron is just beginning!
Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for its hotly anticipated new Transformers Trilogy titled ‘Transformers: War For Cybertron: Siege‘ and it looks awesome. The iconic war for Cybertron has been revealed in various flashback sequences throughout the original animated series and big-screen adaptations of the property, but until now, the true horror of war has hardly been touched upon. Have a look for yourself at the trailer below:
Here’s the official synopsis:
“TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON TRILOGY: SIEGE begins in the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons. The war that has torn apart their home planet of Cybertron is at a tipping point. Two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms. In an attempt to end the conflict, Megatron is forced to consider using the Allspark, the source of all life and power on Cybertron, to “reformat” the Autobots, thus “unifying” Cybertron. Outnumbered, outgunned, and under SIEGE, the battle-weary Autobots orchestrate a desperate series of counterstrikes on a mission that, if everything somehow goes right, will end with an unthinkable choice: kill their planet in order to save it.”
How cool does this trilogy look? Thanks to Bumblebee, the franchise took a major step forward and broke free from the shackles imposed upon it by Michael Bay, and in doing so restored faith in the series. Transformers: War For Cybertron: Siege appears to be building on those foundations and delivering one hell of a ride!
The talented voice cast includes Jake Foushee (Optimus Prime), Jason Marnocha (Megatron), Linsay Rousseau (Elita-1), Joe Zieja (Bumblebee), Frank Todaro (Starscream), Rafael Goldstein (Ratchet), Keith Silverstein (Jetfire), Todd Haberkorn (Shockwave, Red Alert), Edward Bosco (Ultra Magnus, Soundwave), Bill Rogers (Wheeljack), Sophia Isabella (Arcee), Brook Chalmers (Impactor), Shawn Hawkins (Mirage), Kaiser Johnson (Ironhide), Miles Luna (Teletraan I, Cliffjumper) and Mark Whitten (Sideswipe, Skywarp).
As of press time, Netflix has yet to confirm an official release date, but we’ll be the first to cheer “Autobots Roll Out!” when they do.

I’m not sure how Michael Bay ‘shackled’ the narrative. Bumblebee was a terrible movie. Poor acting and a story line that failed to engage. However, after watch the above trilogy I am certainly looking forward to the trilogy’s release.
