Jurassic World 3 Gets a New Title: Jurassic World Dominion

Colin Trevorrow reveals the title to commemorate the first day of filming

Life finds a way!

Director Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World 3 is heading to a multiplex near you in summer 2021, and to commemorate the first official day of shooting, the director has FINALLY revealed the title of his proposed final chapter in the Jurassic saga.

Jurassic World: Dominion

Trevorrow revealed the title via his official Twitter account in a post which you can see below.

What this title means for the narrative of the final film of the Jurassic World Trilogy remains to be seen, however, if the name Dominion is anything to go by we could all be looking forward to an adventure in a world recaptured by dinosaurs.

Trevorrow directs JURASSIC WORLD 3 from a screenplay that he’s currently writing along with Carmichael and JURASSIC WORLD and JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM co-scribe Derek Connolly. Mega movie stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt are expected to return and Patrick Crowley and Frank Marshall will produce with Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow serving as the third film’s executive producers.

The phrase “Welcome to Jurassic World” has never been so poignant.

Jurassic World: Dominion stomps into multiplexes on June 11 2021.
