DC’s Chief Creative Officer, Jim Lee, talked about the future of DC at a recent panel at the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo (C2E2). In the discussion, Lee discussed the Generation Five storyline, also known as the 5G Initiative. Originally rumored to be yet another reboot of the DC universe, his comments at the panel indicate that this is not the case but did not go into specific details about what the 5G Initiative entails.
He also mentioned the rumors of a buyout by Marvel, opening that discussion up with “You guys hear any good rumors lately?” According to Lee, DC is strong and there is no truth to these rumors.
