Warner Bros. also holds preliminary talks to release Wonder Woman 1984 straight to home media
The great team at Warner Bros. has shared several glorious images from the hotly anticipated Wonder Woman sequel titled; Wonder Woman 1984. Most of the images have already been revealed via one form of media or another, but the studio has given us a glossy new image featuring Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) and Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva (aka Cheetah). Check them out below:
Once again, Gal Gadot is joined by Chris Pine as Steve Trevor with new support from Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva/ Cheetah, Natasha Roswell, and the fantastic Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord. Patty Jenkins once again co-writes and directs the film.
As of this writing, the film is still penciled in for its June release date however, reports have emerged suggesting that the studio has held preliminary talks with streaming service to make the movie available for home viewing during the ongoing coronavirus crisis. These negotiations have yet to yield an official outcome but we will, of course, report any changes to the films’ scheduled release as soon as they are announced.
Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters on June 5 (we hope).
