Thomas delves into the Marvel Cinematic Universe to review Hasbro‘s superb new deluxe Natasha Romanoff
Black Widow (White Suit) is a deluxe figure and is a shared exclusive worldwide and Hasbro decided to go full-on S.H. Figuarts/MAFEX for this one! It comes with 6 interchangeable hands, 2 guns, 2 fight sticks, 2 blast effects, 5 explosion effects, and one basic stand! That’s a huge number of accessories and a great number of interchangeable hands. It’s the first time it’s happening like this and collectors should be happy about this and I believe we can be hopeful that it will continue that way in the future.
First, let’s talk about the basic stand! It’s the first time Hasbro has produced one like this. It’s similar to the S.H. Figuarts stands as you can attach the explosion effects on it but it’s more solid than the Figuarts and MAFEX stands and honestly more practical. I think Hasbro has just given us the best basic stand in the 6inch line. I think it would be a good idea to release it separately so that collectors can own several for their figures! And adding the explosion effects with it was a great idea, that’s the perfect action stand!
It’s the first time we see Natasha Romanoff in a white outfit in the MCU and it’s pretty cool and it’s a nice change from the usual black outfits! Despite it being all white, Hasbro still carefully sculpted some details on the outfit. And if you zoom on the black belt, you can see her emblem in the middle. The two guns can fit in the holsters. This figure has 20 points of articulation, perfect for great action poses with the stand!
The headsculpt is absolutely fantastic, they really nailed it, you can definitely see Scarlett Johansson in this.
Hasbro going full-on Figuarts mode? Yes, please more figures like this! It’s a must-have!
