20,000 Leagues Under The Sea
The classic adaptation of Jules Verne’s novel ‘20,000 Leagues Under The Sea‘. Starring Kirk Douglas and James Mason, names young children won’t recognize but will enthrall them, the film does indeed contain some mildly scary moments, mostly during the giant octopus attack but is a wonderfully enjoyable adventure that will entertain children of all ages and also features some of the best underwater photography committed to celluloid at the time. It is also ahead of its time with its ecological message regarding the oceans and the life contained within it.
A film that is deserving of the term ‘Classic’.
Let us know if you have any suggestions of great movies or TV shows our readers should check out and we’ll feature and share them with the FOTF community.
