Annlyel shares her to picks of the best Marvel content available on Disney+ to get you through the coronavirus lockdown
Okay, this is going to be fun. Marvel has become one of my favorite franchises for obvious reasons under Disney (the movies are awesome) and Disney+ has given viewers plenty of Marvel goodness to enjoy. Here are the 5 best things to watch in the Marvel category.
Marvel: Spider-Man
As a child, one of my favorite cartoons to watch was this Spider-Man animated series. With sixty-five episodes to watch, your children will have a blast watching this series that reminds me why I love everyone’s favorite neighborhood Spider-Man.
The Captain America Trilogy
Captain America is one of the franchise’s greatest heroes, proving time and time again his unwavering heroism. All three Captain America films manage to tell great stories and the last two, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War, are absolute blasts to watch.
Guardians of the Galaxy
One of the best superhero movies ever made, Guardians of the Galaxy is a movie riddled with hilarious humor, odd characters that are instantly likable, and some great music to jam to while enjoying a rather thrilling superhero movie experience.
Thor: Ragnarok
Speaking of fun movies, Thor: Ragnarok is fun with a capital F. Thor gets the ultimate upgrade, we are introduced to awesome new characters, good and bad, Loki’s bad-guy streak comes to an end, and with Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” acting as Thor’s personal theme throughout the film, Thor: Ragnarok stands as a testament to why the MCU is so great.
The Avengers Movies
Packed with superheroes, fun moments, and perfectly suitable for the whole family, Disney+ provides the perfect chance to enjoy Marvel movies at their finest with the currently available Avengers films; The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Avengers: Endgame.
Avengers: Infinity War will be available to stream on Disney+ in the US in June.
But these aren’t the only great picks on the Marvel category. There are documentaries, animated series, live-action series, and above it all, most of this stuff is family-friendly, which makes it even better for families who have this streaming service.
Next up, Star Wars.
