Sony Pictures delays the release of the Venom sequel until Summer 2021

Sad news Marvel fans. It has been confirmed that Andy Serkis’ hotly-anticipated sequel to Venom has been delayed by 8 months. Although this news will come as another blow to movie fans everywhere, the sequel has finally been bestowed with an official title…

Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ will now be released around the world on June 25, 2021. Sadly, the movie becomes the latest victim of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic which has decimated the 2020 cinematic calendar. The official Twitter account for the movie moved quickly to confirm the title with a suitably cool video reveal which you can see below:

‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ stars, Tom Hardy, as Eddie Brock/Venom and Woody Harrelson who reprises his role as Cletus Kasady/Carnage.
