S.H. Figuarts Iron Patriot (Iron Man 3) (2nd Release) Review

Thomas suits up to review the long-awaited re-release of the Iron Patriot figure from Bandai

Despite the delay for their Avengers Endgame final battle figures, S.H. Figuarts still managed to re-release a few Marvel Cinematic Universe popular figures. One of them is Iron Patriot from Iron Man 3! At the time, it was a ‘Disney Exclusive’ release, and as you might have guessed it quickly became a rare figure and went on to insane prices with third-party sellers. The Disney sticker is still present on this release. A second release is always helpful for collectors especially since they always improve the figures with new paint apps.

This figure comes with 8 interchangeable hands, 1 removable back canon, 4 hand effects, and 2 reactor feet effects.

Iron Patriot is one of my favorite Rhodey armor’s so I’m really glad to have been able to get this one. I love the red, blue, silver colors on this armor, and as usual, Figuarts nails it with their metallic paint.

This figure has 37 points of articulation even more than the other Mark armors. There are actually two additional hips POA for better articulation range for the legs. In terms of articulation, this one is like a Hot Toys, you get the best articulation range and that’s amazing! Obviously, the thing that misses is a Rhodey headsculpt, Figuarts has never produced one and it would probably about time they do one.

Final Thoughts:

A great figure, it never goes wrong with MK armors!
