The ‘Justified’ actor is set to appear in the second season of the Disney+ hit series

Jon Favreau is accumulating one hell of a cast list for The Mandalorian Season 2. The stellar Star Wars series recently added Rosario Dawson, Michael Biehn, and Katee Sackhoff to the cast list, and even nailed down Temuera Morrison for an astonishing appearance as legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett. Now, the news is reaching the wires that Timothy Olyphant has become the latest actor to be captured for an appearance in the hit series.

It is unknown whether Olyphant will be portraying an all-new character or how many episodes we can expect to see him appear in but his capture adds another level of awesomeness to what is already looking like a mesmerizing second season.

Thankfully, production on season 2 was completed before the Coronavirus pandemic sent the world into enforced lockdown meaning fans can look forward to The Mandalorian Season 2 debuting this October on Disney+. Directors such as PredatorsRobert Rodriguez and Ant-Man’s Peyton Reed have joined Dave Filoni and show creator Jon Favreau, in the directorial hot seat this time around ensuring the series is packed with talent right across the board.

As previously mentioned, joining Olyphant in The Mandalorian season two will be series regulars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Baby Yoda, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, and Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett in addition to franchise newcomers Rosario Dawson (expected to play Ahsoka Tano), and Hollywood legend Michael Biehn

Just when you thought The Mandalorian couldn’t get any better…IT JUST DID!
