
ILMxLAB turns back the clock to 1980 and the release of The Empire Strikes Back
We are a celebratory mood. Today marks the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, arguably the greatest movie sequel of all time and to commemorate it, the awesome team over at ILMxLAB has marked the day by releasing a suitably cool retro poster. The glorious poster, designed for the upcoming release of Vader Immortal: The Complete VR Series features an iconic image from the movies’ original release depicting the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader.

May 21, 2020 – SAN FRANCISCO, CA. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and the one year anniversary of Vader Immortal: Episode I, ILMxLAB recreated a fan favorite, iconic Star Wars poster from the 1980 film.
Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series is a canonical Star Wars adventure that allows audiences to step into the role of a Force-sensitive smuggler recruited by Darth Vader himself. All three episodes of the series will be available for purchase this summer on PlayStation®VR, bringing the complete trilogy together for players and fans.
