Get ready for a time-bending spy thriller like no other!
When Christopher Nolan sets his sights on delivering a movie the world takes notice. Nolan’s movies aren’t like any other everyday run of the mill feature – his movies are EVENTS. And with his next ambitious project looming on the horizon cinema fans finally have something to cheer about.
Overnight, Warner Bros. released the stunning new trailer for TENET – Nolan’s rousing time-bending spy thriller that is sure to alter our perception of reality. The movie has remained steadfast amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and unlike the countless other summer blockbusters that have abandoned their slot – TENET has refused to be shifted from its July 17 release date. Check out the trailer below:
Armed with only one word — Tenet — and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real-time. Not time travel. Inversion.
Aside from looking pretty damn awesome, TENET appears to be staying true to the style of Nolan’s previous movies and will take the visual spectacle to dizzying new heights. It has been confirmed that Nolan wrote and directed the film, utilizing a mixture of IMAX and 70mm film to bring the story to the screen which is sure to up the ante and ensure a totally immersive viewing experience.
The cast of “TENET” includes Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, with Kenneth Branagh and Nolan’s long-time collaborator, screen icon Michael Caine. Composer Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther/The Mandalorian) has been commissioned to score the movie.
It should be noted that even though the movie currently remains locked in for its original July 17 release date, the updated banner from the official TENET Twitter account has now replaced the date with “Coming To Theatres”. Whether this is an indication that the movie will now vacate its release slot remains to be seen, but, I think we can all agree that when a movie looks this INCREDIBLE – it’s going to be worth waiting for.
For now, Tenet is scheduled to change the cinematic experience as we know it from July 17.
