Annlyel fantasizes over a big-screen Star Wars movie featuring the battle of titans!

The Mandalorians and the Jedi are the two coolest conceptualized warriors in the Star Wars universe. The final episode of the first season of The Mandalorian teased at an epic war between the Mandalorians and Jedi thousands of years before and now there are rumors that such an impactful moment in Star Wars lore might come to fruition.

The Mandalorian Chapter 8 The Armorer

There is a new Star Wars trilogy expected to arrive in 2022 and what this trilogy entails, I’m not quite sure. Rian Johnson supposedly has been working on a trilogy since he finished The Last Jedi in 2017 and then we have the new High Republic storyline taking place in the next stretch of novels set to come out. But what other tricks does Disney have up its sleeve? The sequel trilogy grabbed our hearts, sucking fans back into the entrancing galaxy that is Star Wars whether we were pleased with the result or not and the newest show, The Mandalorian, has managed to wow viewers around the world with its great storytelling and fantastic new characters.

The thought of an army of Mandalorians fighting the Jedi sounds like one of the coolest things I’ve ever heard and honestly, I hope Disney is conceptualizing a movie (or movies) that follow this storyline. In fact, we may even get a sneak peek at this past storyline via the second season of The Mandalorian in an epic flashback sequence. You just never know. All in all, I can’t wait to eventually see The Mandalorian again this fall. It’s going to be fun.
