The villain of Michael Crichton's original Jurassic Park and The Lost World novels to return for Dominion!

Aside from a memorable blink and you miss it cameo from Lewis Dodgson in Steven Spielberg’s original Jurassic Park, Lewis Dodgson plays a pivotal role in Michael Crichton’s original novels. In both Jurassic Park and The Lost World, Dodgson was the key villain behind the theft of the dinosaurs and was obsessed with pillaging Site B and using its creatures to make his company – BioSyn the new market leader of genetic research. Sadly, the movies omitted many of these glorious original storylines and in the case of The Lost World, scriptwriter David Koepp replaced Dodgson’s BioSyn completely – instead opting to use InGen as the big bad corporation of the movie.

Well, Colin Trevorrow appears to be correcting the failings of the past. Collider is reporting that Lewis Dodgson will be returning for Jurassic World: Dominion. The role will be played by Campbell Scott, known for his role as Peter Parker’s father in The Amazing Spider-Man. The role has been re-cast following the original actor’s conviction as a registered sex offender. As of press time, there is no information regarding the size of the part Dodgson will play, however, with Michael Crichton’s original storylines just begging to be told, we can expect to see him return to pillage John Hammond’s creations once again.
