Rejoice Star Trek: Discovery fans, the news you’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. The hotly anticipated third season of the hit CBS ALL Access/Netflix series will get underway on October 15.
The last time we saw the U.S.S Discovery and her crew, she boldly ventured into the future on a mission to protect the universe as we know it leaving Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the Enterprise to carry the secret of her fate. A burst from the “Red Angel” confirmed Discovery’s survival – but what became of the heroic crew remains a mystery. The new season finds the U.S.S. Discovery crew landing into an unknown future far from the home they once knew. Now living in a time filled with uncertainty, the U.S.S. Discovery crew, along with the help of some new friends, must work together to restore hope to the Federation.
Star Trek: Discovery stars Sonequa Martin-Green (Commander Michael Burnham), Doug Jones (Commander Saru), Anthony Rapp (Lt. Commander Paul Stamets), Mary Wiseman (Ensign Sylvia Tilly), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), David Ajala (Cleveland “Book” Booker) and Michelle Yeoh (Philippa Georgiou).
Fire up the impulse engines and energize the dilithium crystals – new episodes from the 13-episode third season will be available on CBS All Access weekly on Thursdays starting on October 15. (U.K air dates pending).
