Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin look stunning against the incredible comic book backdrop
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic decimating the 2020 theatrical calendar, DC fans are looking forward to the upcoming return of the slew of Arrowverse shows from The CW’s stable. After the retirement of Arrow, The CW has earmarked the new Superman & Lois series to lead the charge into the next decade, and bolstering the line-up alongside the Man Of Steel is Black Lightning, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman (minus Ruby Rose), The Flash and Supergirl.
With DC FanDome looming on the horizon, The CW has unveiled new posters for The Flash‘s hotly-anticipated seventh season, and the much-awaited sixth season of Supergirl. The new posters are a delight. For their stellar return, DC has returned to its roots. Both Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin are featured against a traditional comic book backdrop which accentuates their fantastic super suits. Check them out below:
Okay, these new posters are seriously cool – and I adore the new comic book backdrop. Personally, I can’t wait to get my first look at Superman & Lois, not to mention the return of Batwoman post-Ruby Rose – but like most fans who started this journey with Arrow and The Flash, I am super excited to return to S.T.A.R Labs and catch up with Barry Allen and co once again.
DC has teased big reveals at DC FanDome, and with these new posters hitting the wires today, fan expectations will be through the roof for what looks like the biggest event of the summer.
To the Batmobile!
