Annlyel shares her excitement for the upcoming trailer for The Mandalorian Season 2
Rumors are milling that the first trailer for The Mandalorian‘s second season will be arriving within a matter of weeks. Yes, I said it. Weeks! With DC Comics and Warner Bros. dominating this month with their epic free virtual online comic-con titled DC FanDome (which will happen on August 22) Disney isn’t wanting to be left out of the party.
Last year, we got the first trailer for The Mandalorian during Disney’s D23 conference on August 23. According to the rumors, we could be getting the trailer this year on August 22 during the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
The thought is mind-numbingly exciting. I’ve missed enjoying new adventures with Mando and Baby Yoda (or The Child, Cutesie-Tootsie, whatever you want to call him) but there’s also a sense of intrigue about this trailer that the trailers for the first season of The Mandalorian didn’t provide me.
Last year, I was simply interested in seeing if this Star Wars television show would look like it was made with the same quality as the movies. Clearly, it blew me away in all facets and was an extraordinary story that roped me in. This time around I know the characters but there are certain things I hope we get to see; namely Boba Fett, Moff Gideon, and potentially Ahsoka Tano which would utterly make my week.
The trailer is highly-anticipated (no surprise there) and the fact that there’s a very good chance that we’ll be getting it sooner rather than later is a staggering prospect.
As a wise Ugnaught once said, I have spoken.
