Thomas checks out the cool new Captain Cardinal figure from Hasbro’s Galaxy’s Edge collection
Hasbro is finally releasing its Galaxy’s Edge line of Black Series figures! The US is getting them at Target while Europe is getting them through a shared exclusive. So far here in Europe, we are getting Captain Cardinal, DJ R-3X, the First Order Mountain Trooper, and Hondo Ohnaka.
If you are familiar with the Captain Phasma novel then you know Captain Cardinal, a crimson First Order captain. I love that special troopers in the First Order have different colors – Phasma is silver, Pyre is gold, Cardinal and Vonreg are red.
Cardinal is quite an easy figure to make. They used The Rise of Skywalker Stormtrooper sculpt and painted it red and added the Phasma fabric cape. The paint app is pretty neat, they used a vibrant red. For the weapons, he comes with a blaster pistol and a First Order blaster with the cross. Both weapons have been painted red and black, good paint apps as well. They can be attached to the leg like for previous versions of the First Order Stormtrooper figures.
