The Child walks alongside Mando on the glorious new logo artwork for Season 2

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has practically decimated the 2020 cinematic release calendar, Star Wars fans were safe in the knowledge that filming on season two of The Mandalorian was completed before the world went into lockdown. Today, with the clock ticking down to the promised October release, the studio has unveiled the stunning new logo for the series.


For all intents and purposes, the logo remains the same as its predecessor, however with a beautiful new color palette and the inclusion of Baby Yoda walking alongside his new guardian – the season two artwork looks incredible. And if that isn’t enough to have you yelling like a Jawa clutching a Mudhorn Egg, the studio also confirmed that the series will officially launch on Disney+ from Friday, October, 30.

Joining Pedro Pascal and Baby Yoda for The Mandalorian Season 2 are Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, Timothy Olyphant, and Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett in addition to franchise newcomers Rosario Dawson (expected to play Ahsoka Tano), and Hollywood legend Michael Biehn.
