EW has given us our first look at Mando Season 2 and Baby Yoda looks even cuter than he did last season!
With the clock ticking down to the release of The Mandalorian‘s hotly-anticipated second season, all eyes are on Lucasfilm to deliver a stellar follow up to what has become the biggest streaming event of all-time. Thankfully, filming on the second season was completed before the COVID-19 pandemic practically forced the world into lockdown – and the fans have been waiting patiently to get their first look at what awaits them when the show returns to Disney+ this October.
Thankfully, the wait is finally over. Today, Entertainment Weekly has peeled back the veil of secrecy and obtained our first official images from the series – and they feature Mando on a cool new swoop bike, Greef Karga, and Cara Dune, and even the adorable looking Baby Yoda – who somehow looks even cuter than he did last season. Check out the images below:
And if that isn’t enough to have you reaching for your Darksaber, the outlet also revealed its awesome new cover art for The Mandalorian issue. Check them out:
Okay, I am officially more excited than a Jawa holding a Mudhorn Egg. On the strength of these awesome images, Season 2 looks to be another phenomenal series and I cannot wait to immerse myself in more adventures besides the galaxy’s most unlikely dynamic duo. And with Boba Fett, Ahsoka Tano, and Bo-Katan being thrown into the mix – we may be set to receive more Star Wars awesomeness than we can shake a Gaderffii stick at!
Joining Pedro Pascal and Baby Yoda for The Mandalorian Season 2 are Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, Timothy Olyphant, and Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett in addition to franchise newcomers Rosario Dawson (expected to play Ahsoka Tano), and Hollywood legend Michael Biehn.
The Mandalorian: Season 2 will officially launch on Disney+ from Friday, October, 30.
