TENET 003

Should ‘TENET’ Have a Sequel?

Annlyel shares her hopes for a Tenet sequel

TENET is quite a spectacle. Is it the best Christopher Nolan movie I’ve ever seen? No! Definitely not. But, like all Nolan films, it has a certain level of charm that makes it unforgettable/easily rewatchable. (Read our review).

TENET 011

My favorite thing about the film wasn’t the inversion plot which, while very cool to look at, left me rubbing my throbbing head as I tried to figure out what the heck was happening. But one thing that needed no explanation was the bromance between The Protagonist (John David Washington) and Neil (Robert Pattinson.) They were worth the price of admission as they took on this Mission: Impossible-level plot to save the world through the means of time inversion.

Their scenes were easily my favorite portions of the movie and honestly, I feel like we didn’t get enough time with them (even though the movie was a whopping two and a half hours long.) In fact, Washington and Pattinson have become my favorite movie duo because they were so much fun to watch.

I know we probably won’t be getting a sequel, especially after the box-office woes continue to strike the film despite its reentering theaters, but if we did…
