Ludwig Göransson‘s sublime score bags the Emmy for Oustanding Music Composition
Just hours after The Mandalorian‘s stunning first season bagged five Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Jon Favreau’s landmark Star Wars series just bagged another pair – and that’s before the main ceremony has even taken place!

The majority of the awards are expected to be presented at the main ceremony this evening, but that hasn’t stopped the Disney+ series from picking up the award for Oustanding Stunt Coordination. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better – Ludwig Göransson‘s stellar score was recognized for Oustanding Music Composition.
The composer took to Twitter to share his thanks for the award:

This is wonderful news – and with more Emmy’s due to be presented later today there is a good chance the show could bag a whole lot more – and deservedly so. Congratulations to the standout teams behind the series – and huge congratulations to Ludwig Göransson. His iconic score has become the soul of the series, and with season two right around the corner, we cannot wait to see what the composer has in store for us.

Exciting times in the galaxy far, far away…
