The casting agency representing Temuera Morrison reveals all!
In a surprise move, the talent agency representing Star Wars legend Temuera Morrison has officially listed the actor as portraying legendary Bounty Hunter Boba Fett in season two of The Mandalorian.
Rumors surrounding his casting were first reported a few months ago – and despite his casting being common knowledge amongst the fanbase – Lucasfilm is yet to officially confirm his return. However, this monumental gaffe has all-but cemented the iconic Bounty Hunter’s return in Jon Favreau’s Star Wars brainchild.

Of course, we are yet to determine how much involvement Boba Fett will have in the series. Rumors at the time suggested that his role would be nothing more than a cameo/flashback – but other reports suggest a wider storyline relating to Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant) – a self-appointed sheriff of the Tatooine settlement Freetown coming into possession of Boba Fett‘s iconic Mandalorian armor!!!
Whether these rumors turn out to be true or not, it seems that Boba Fett is set for a stunning return to the galaxy far, far away. Just when you thought The Mandalorian couldn’t get any better…IT JUST DID!
Set to star in The Mandalorian season two will be series regulars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Baby Yoda, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, and Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett in addition to franchise newcomers Rosario Dawson (expected to play Ahsoka Tano), and Hollywood legend Michael Biehn.
