Strap on your Proton Pack because Reebok just added some Ghostbusters awesomeness to its line of trainers!

Okay, despite Sony Pictures pushing back the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife until June 2021 – there is a silver lining, and it’s coming from the unlikeliest of places!

Reebok has confirmed that it will be introducing two new pairs of sneakers into its awesome line of footwear. Ordinarily, you’d be asking “why on earth is Phil banging on about Reebok trainers!” – and you’d be right to do so – but when you throw in the name GHOSTBUSTERS you’ll understand my excitement. Yes, Reebok is producing two pairs of trainers inspired by Ghostbusters, and they’ll be hitting the shelves THIS HALLOWEEN.  The sneakers have been inspired by the classic original movie and boast a cool Ghostbusters jumpsuit/Ecto-1 vibe.

Check them out below:

Strap on your proton pack. Or, you know, just lace up these Ghostbusters shoes. It’s time to celebrate Sony’s original Ghostbusters movie. The design includes several tributes to the series, from the logo on the tongue to the slime graphic on the outsole. The shoes are made of smooth leather, with a durable rubber outsole.

Show ghosts who is boss. These men’s Ghost Smashers shoes have a fearless design inspired by the Ghostbusters movie from the ’80s. The leather upper has a worn, weathered look as if you’ve gone into battle. Signature details from the film give them a legit look.

Okay, my inner child just passed out. As a child of the eighties, these sneakers are everything I could have ever wanted and they will be going straight to the top of my wishlist. The sneakers will be available to order at midnight EST on October 31st, with the Ghostbusters Classic Leather Shoes costing you $100 and the Ghostbusters Ghost Smasher Shoes setting you back $150. But let’s face it, it’s a small price to pay for awesomeness!

Although the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife has been delayed again, at least we can fill the void with these awesome trainers.
