
Production will begin in February 2021 with 10 one-hour episodes ordered
After enjoying a stellar second season (read our review), Netflix has announced plans for a ten-episode third season of The Umbrella Academy. The immensely popular series has proven to be a solid hit with fans and newcomers alike and truly deserves its renewal.
According to the streamer, the following cast members are all set to reprise their roles; Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore.
Production is expected to begin in February 2021 in Toronto, Canada, with 10 one-hour episodes ordered for the third season.

This is fantastic news. In a time where the best Netflix shows face uncertain futures – it is most refreshing to see such a popular hit-series getting renewed for another season. Let’s hope this symbolizes the end of cancel culture once and for all.
