After what was a stellar and insightful debut season, the official site has confirmed that a one-hour special of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian will debut on Christmas Day. The one-hour spectacular will peel back the curtain and take us behind-the-scenes of The Mandalorian Season Two just days after the twin suns have set of the season finale!
Here’s the official line:
In this new installment of DG: The Mandalorian, filmmakers, and cast provide unprecedented access to the storytelling decisions and innovations that went into the second season of the Emmy Award-winning series.
Featuring immersive on-set footage that places viewers right in the middle of the filmmaking process, and rare insights from the cast and crew, this special documentary explores the production of all 8 episodes in Season 2 — from early concept art through the groundbreaking technology introduced in the series.
This is fantastic news. Season one was a fascinating look at the production of The Mandalorian and revealed the love, care, and attention every single member of the cast and crew brought to the project – and I cannot wait for another adventure.
This is the way – and Christmas Day is the day!
