Should HBO Max become home to a future slate of SnyderVerse content? Annlyel looks ahead to a Zack Snyder platform of awesomeness
RESTORE THE SNYDERVERSE.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is finally here and it has exceeded plenty of expectations. I’ve seen the film twice and after my second viewing, I felt a powerful yearning to see a sequel.
EPIC
The final thirty minutes of the movie were pretty epic and set up what could be a fantastically epic sequel. The eventual arrival of Darkseid and his massive army, Martian Manhunter’s induction into the Justice League, and maybe a deeper dive into the alternate version of the Justice League that Bruce Wayne saw in his nightmare. These are bits and pieces that I want to see fully fleshed out in sequels to this movie. But how could we get a chance to see this film?
HBO Max should become the hub of the SnyderVerse movies like Disney+ is the place where we can find Marvel Studios’ other content like WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It would be so nice to see these characters and these stories from Snyder’s vision continued in these epic four-hour movie events that could come out every year featuring our favorite heroes.
It would be so much fun for the fans and could turn into something truly special. Plus, I just really need to see where this story is going and more time with Snyder’s epic rendition of Wonder Woman.
