This week’s episode of Loki is mind-blowing, it’s the craziest thing the MCU has done so far with standout performances from Richard E. Grant and an Alligator!
We’re back for the penultimate episode of Loki. This one is entitled ‘Journey Into Mystery.’ After last week’s gripping finale, can episode 5 build on the potential and deliver another epic adventure?

THE STORY
After last week‘s ending, the series took a turn that could lead to anything. And this episode just goes wild. It is without any doubt the craziest thing the MCU has done so far and it prepares us for what we may get in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

This episode features so many Lokis. It is so good and definitely, something from the comics I didn’t think would happen 6 years ago. There are some really good laughs but a lot of serious scenes as well taking place in the middle of scenery on an epic scale. With the Multiverse storyline possibilities are endless. That’s what so exciting about it.

‘Journey Into Mystery‘ is all about playing with the different Loki’s so it features so many nods to the comics and the different iteration of the character. I have to mention Richard E. Grant as Classic Loki, he slays it, simply fantastic. He is the best of these Multiverse Lokis!

LOKI’S RELATIONSHIPS
When talking about the show, Waldron said Loki was going to have both a female and a male love interest. With 5 episodes in, it seems pretty obvious now that it’s Sylvie and Mobius. I love the way Loki and Sylvie’s relationship is explored. They are both Lokis so as Lokis it would make sense they would be attracted to each other. Lokis are egocentric. But at the same time, this relationship is also about self-love and it’s something both have to learn.

While with Mobius, it’s different. It’s a friendship but also more than that. They both deeply care for each other. Their interactions are some of the best in the series, there’s a lot of banter. And it evolved into something where both are really honest with each other.
THE SCORE
We have to talk about Natalie Holt’s score once again. She was already doing marvelous work but this episode is one step further. It’s truly epic!
