The Book Of Boba Fett star Temuera Morrison reveals the director’s taking the reins of his upcoming Star Wars series
With The Book Of Boba Fett now in post-production, Temuera Morrison is enjoying some well-earned downtime. But now and then, the star drops a few tidbits of information about the series. But those tidbits are usually noteworthy. And in the latest reveal, the star has dropped the names of some of the directors heading to the galaxy far, far away.
“We’ve got some great directors onboard – Robert Rodriguez, Favreau, Bryce [Dallas Howard], Dave Filoni… It’s just a new world! It’s a new world. They like to keep the Star Wars stuff under [lock and] key.”
However, when questions about the content of the series came up, the star was traditionally evasive. In fact, he only discussed details that are already in the public forum.
“It’s in the timeline of The Mandalorian so, I guess, we gotta go back and see. “It’s a duo thing. We’ve got Ming-Na Wen in there – she’s playing the master assassin Fennec Shand.”
Even though the names mentioned won’t come as a shock, they do add weight to the hotly anticipated series. Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau, and Bryce Dallas Howard have been an integral part of The Mandalorian directorial team. And Robert Rodriguez famously directed Boba Fett’s EPIC return episode in Season 2. So, it comes as no surprise that these visionaries will be on hand to guide Boba Fett back to the screen. Either way, it all points to a sensational series for the galaxy’s greatest bounty hunter.
The Book Of Boba Fett will release this December on Disney Plus.
