SEASON 2 SYNOPSIS
Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans, and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.
The news broke at the inaugural WitcherCon which took place this past Friday. And thankfully, the fun didn’t end there. Netflix went one better by releasing the first trailer for the upcoming anime feature film: The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf. The movie will release on Netflix on August 23. Check it out below:
And finally. Just when we thought WitcherCon couldn’t get any better, the streamer released the brand new teaser poster for the immersive new anime movie.
WitcherCon was an absolute blast, and we hope this was just the first of many events dedicated to everyone’s favorite demon slayer. With so much Witcher content heading our way in the coming months, it’s hard not to get excited. Aside from an unwelcome time-jumping trope, I enjoyed season one immensely. And with season two ditching the phenomenon, the second season promises to be something really special. And let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to spend the better part of seven hours with Geralt of Rivia?
