WAVE 3

Claudia Gray will be penning an adult novel called The Fallen Star set to be released tentatively in 2022. Justina Ireland will be producing a middle-grade book called Mission to Disaster and her track record is amazing so far, so I am looking forward to this one the most. Daniel Jose Older has a YA called Midnight Horizon. And lastly, Charles Soule will cover a comic series titled The Eye of the Storm.

In two 30-page issues landing in January, Soule promised to expand on the “very complicated backstory” of the Eye of the Nihil, Marchion Ro. “He’s absolutely terrifying. He’s charming in a way…you’ll meet him and he’ll talk to you and you’ll have a good time. Maybe he’ll buy you a beer. A space beer, I guess. But then, you know, the minute you leave the room, his face goes blank. It’s all just a mask.”
