Once again, Marvel Studios has outdone themselves with another stellar episode of What If…?
What If…? and Marvel zombies. It’s not something I knew about until recently. And it definitely wasn’t something I was entirely enthused to see. Zombies are already scary enough as it is but to turn our favorite characters into brain-chomping undead was terrible. Absolutely terrible! (And I mean that in a good way.)
Last week’s episode, What If…Doctor Strange Had Lost His Heart Instead of his Hands? is by far still my favorite episode so far but this week’s episode turned out to be better than I expected. In fact, it turned out to be rather hilarious which was desperately needed.
This episode gave us a new Avengers roster which I thought was awesome and hilarious. My favorite random addition to the squad was the return of David Dastmalchian’s Kurt from the Ant-Man movies. His Baba Yaga jokes never felt more hilariously on point.
AVENGERS
I loved seeing Bucky again and Peter Parker was great in this episode. In fact, there’s no favoritism happening here. I loved every character’s inclusion in this episode and I loved every plot twist. All the way ‘till that very last shot which left me staring at the screen like, “No way. Not again.”
Once again, Marvel Studios has outdone themselves with another stellar episode. Honestly, what made this episode so much fun was the top-notch humor. That episode had some of the funniest jokes in the MCU and I’m going to have to watch it again so I can catch all of them.
FINAL THOUGHTS
All in all, Marvel Studios just keeps on winning with their outstanding content. I absolutely cannot wait to see more possibilities with this incredibly creative animated series.
