First Look: Marvel Comics Carnage Life-Size Bust By Queen Studios

Queen Studios has shared images and release details for their incredible new Marvel Comics Carnage life-size bust

Queen Studios has sent over some glorious images of the new Marvel Comics Carnage 1/1 Scale Life-Size Bust. The bust stands at 75cm tall and is based on the variant cover of issue no.5 of the superb Marvel series Absolute Carnage. What’s more, the bust will be a counterpart to the 1/1 Venom Life-size bust which brings to life Eddie Brock as Venom.

The statue has been crafted from polystone and resin and features Carnage’s bone-white eyes; open mouth, and unique crimson color. Instead of using a traditional stand, the artists at Queen Studios have merged the symbiote form into the base itself; giving the bust the effect of the base being consumed by Carnage just like the character in the comics. But don’t take my word for it, check out the glorious images below.

THE DETAILS

Carnage is one of Marvel’s most crazed and deranged villains. Once a killer known as Cletus Kasady, he transformed into Carnage after mixing blood with Eddie Brock, (the host of the alien symbiote Venom) during a prison escape at Ravencroft Institute. The symbiote magnified Kasady’s psychotic nature making him even less mentally stable, and consequently even more dangerous. 

Unlike Venom, Carnage is a singular creature, referring to himself as “I” instead of “We”, because the symbiote has merged into Kasady’s bloodstream.

THE STATUE

This Queen Studios 1/1 scale Carnage life-size bust is carefully created from polystone and painted to near perfection to capture Carnage’s unique crimson color. The base of this bust marks a new direction compared to Queen Studios’ other life-size busts, as it has been uniquely designed from the new Artist Series just like Venom. Queen Studios’ artists have merged the symbiote body into the base, giving the bust the effect of the base being consumed by Carnage just like the character in the comics. Finally, Carnage’s name has been written on the front of the base with the same style as the cover of the Marvel series Absolute Carnage.

This new bust looks spectacular and will take pride of place on any collectors’ mantle. And thankfully, you won’t have long to wait too long to get your hands on it.  The bust will release in the second quarter of 2022 and will set you back a cool $1,480.00. But thankfully, Queen Studios is offering an alternate, more affordable payment option. Sadly, pre-orders aren’t currently available. They will get underway on Nov 11th, 2021.
