Hawkeye delivers another entertaining and emotional episode. Florence Pugh is a scene stealer!”

It’s Wednesday so this means it’s time for our weekly dose of MCU content! It’s actually a double dose of MCU content today in Europe with Spider-Man No Way Home.

So far, the MCU series all had a penultimate episode that was  emotionally heavy. Hawkeye is no exception. This episode hits us right in the feels. Clint Barton has put himself in a situation that only gets worse and it’s so intriguing to see how everything unfolds. This episode finally answers questions preparing us for the big finale next week. There are surprises that will surely please Marvel fans.

Hawkeye knows exactly how to balance the humor in the middle of all the drama. The jokes are always smooth and natural. And I think that’s also what makes this series so compelling. It’s the right blend of action, humor and drama, all that serving to dive deeper into Clint Barton while getting to know Kate Bishop. I love how this episode deals with Kate Bishop trying to figure out if she’s really made to be a superhero while Clint has to face his past.

THE RETURN OF YELENA

Last week, Yelena made her return in the MCU after her triumphant debut earlier this year in Black Widow. The post credit scene from this movie  teased her appearance in Hawkeye. And when you think about it, it makes total sense to have her here. Both her and Clint are deeply connected to Natasha Romanoff. Even though she died in Avengers Endgame, she still has a big presence in the series and is the reason of several emotional scenes.

This episode gives us a look at what Yelena has been up to since the events of Black Widow. She became an instant fan favorite so I’m really glad to see her again. Florence Pugh brings energy and wit to the character, which makes her so likeable while also being a deadly trained Widow. She’s definitely a scene stealer.
