Panels for THE MANDALORIAN and THE BAD BATCH are added to the lineup at Star Wars Celebration. Plus, more celebrity guests have been announced.
The team at starwars.com has announced more additions to the lineup of panels at Star Wars Celebration. Yesterday we learned that Lucasfilm creatives were heading to the mother of all Star Wars events. And fans had much to be excited about. Especially when panels for The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor were mentioned. But today, we have more revelations to share, and fans of The Bad Batch can look forward to a real treat.
As well as the aforementioned panel for The Mandalorian, it has been confirmed that creator Jon Favreau and executive producer Dave Filoni will make their first Star Wars Celebration appearance since the premiere of the Disney+ series. The panel, called “Mando+: A Conversation with Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni,” will take place Saturday, May 28. And will feature special guests for a look back and a look ahead at what’s to come.
THE BAD BATCH
But there’s more. On Sunday, May 29, David Collins will be hosting an all-new interactive panel dedicated to Star Wars: The Bad Batch. And fans hoping to hear more about the upcoming second season have a lot to look forward to. That’s because in addition to executive producers Brad Rau and Jen Corbett, story editor Matt Michnovetz, and actors Dee Bradley Baker (The Bad Batch) and Michelle Ang (Omega) will be on hand to explore their highlights of season one. And then, the guest will explore some exciting hints of what’s to come in Season 2!
MORE GUESTS ADDED
And just when you thought this bulletin couldn’t get any better, more guests have been added to the lineup. Fans of The Mandalorian can look forward to chatting with Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, and Emily Swallow. The trio has been staples of the hit live-action series since its inception and now they’re looking forward to meeting fans in person.
Dee Bradley Baker, the voice actor behind Star Wars: The Bad Batch’s Clone Force 99, Captain Rex on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and so many other characters, will be there alongside Star Wars Celebration newcomer Michelle Ang, who brought Omega to life as the newest member of the elite squad in Star Wars: The Bad Batch last year.
And Dickey Beer, the stunt coordinator who performed some of Boba Fett’s daring feats in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, and Amy Allen; Jedi Master Aayla Secura in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, will also return to the convention floor. These celebrity guests will be joining the previously announced lineup which is packed full of Star Wars talent. Already confirmed are Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon, The Mandalorian); Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), and Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca); with more to come as we count down the days.
